Job Description: Fast paced, Walk-In Medical Clinic, looking for a highly motivated Medical Assistant to join our professional medical family here at Physician Care Walk-In Clinic. You will work directly with our friendly staff and the Doctor to provide superior patient care.
This is a full time position. The clinic hours are Monday-Friday, 9:00am-4:00pm. Staff hours are on a schedule, but may vary somewhat depending on patient volume.
Medical Assistant duties are as follows: (We will train all tasks below as needed)
⦁ Check patients in and out of clinic
⦁ Record patients' vital signs (to include: pulse, blood pressure, respiratory rate, BMI, oxygen status)
⦁ Perform data entry such as updating and recording patients' medical histories, lab data, etc.
⦁ Perform basic in-house lab tests (venipuncture, urine sample collection, finger sticks, etc. )
⦁ EKG
⦁ Clean and stock exam rooms
⦁ Prep patients for medical and minor surgical procedures and exams
⦁ Administer injections
⦁ Use of medical equipment (oxygen tanks, autoclave, crash cart, etc. )
⦁ Assist the Doctor directly with minor surgery and other procedures
⦁ Clean and stock exam rooms
